サポート終了の CentOS 6 でEPELリポジトリを対応する
CentOS 6は、サポートが終了(2020-11-30)していて、yumコマンドを使うとエラーになります。以前の記事で「CentOS 6でyumコマンドエラー」で、「CentOS-Base.repo」の方は修正しています。
まだ稼働しているCentOS 6のサーバーでEPELリポジトリからyum コマンドを使う機会があり、こちらも下記のエラーとなりyumコマンドが使用できなくなりました
yum --enablerepo=epel update ******* Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security Setting up Update Process Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found" Trying other mirror. EPELの接続先を確認すると「http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/$basearch/」となっています。
$ cat /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo [epel] name=EPEL RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux baseurl=http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/$basearch/ gpgcheck=1 enabled=0
URLをブラウザで確認すると確かに、ファイルやディレクトリはなくなっていましたが、READMEファイル（http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/README）が有り、その内容が以下のようになっています
ATTENTION ====================================== The contents of this directory have been moved to our archives available at: http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/epel/ If you are having troubles finding something there please stop by #epel on irc.freenode.net
EPELの接続先を、「archives.fedoraproject.org」に変更すればできるようなので、そちらに変更したらCentOS 6でもEPELリポジトリを使用できました
$ sudo vim /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo #baseurl=http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/$basearch/ baseurl=https://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/epel/6/$basearch/
